Name: Justin David Hawkins

Born: 17 March 1975

Position in band: Singer/lead guitarist/keyboardist

• Has played guitar from an early age(14?), going to lessons until he became better than his teacher
• Has several tattoos; His name on his left upper arm(with a lightning bolt instead of an S) a floral decoration on his right arm, which covers up a badly lasered-off celtic band, and of course the flames which rise upwards from his groin.
• He has his left nipple pierced, used to have his nose pierced, and in late 2004 a Prince Albert piercing.
• He has his own signature guitar, modelled on the fancy Gibson les paul custom he played at the Brits 2004
• He also plays a one of a kind seashellesque custom Gibson(shown in the picture above)

• Ed used to get called "Badger" at school because he has white patches in his eyebrows.
• His brother Andy is in the band Crush Deluxe.
• He left a band called Q*Sling to join The Darkness
• He worked in TV production for less than a month
• He attened Kirkley High with Dan and Justin
• He was one of the 'unsporty' ones and started playing the drums while skiving off P.E and lurking in the music room.
• He once signed a stuffed dead dog, with an E and D on each bollock.

• In his teens he used to work in a guitar shop
• He's worked for Hundred Reasons, Reef, and Hell is For Heros
• He joined The Darkness clan in August 2003, and beame Dan's guitar tech
• He comes from Lichfield, near Birmingham
• He used to do tour merchandising on the road for Blur and Supergrass
• He used to be a member of The Darkness crew band; Onion Trump.
• He's the tallest member of the band, at "6 foot 4 and a bit"!

Position in band: Ex-bassist

Reason for departure: Early morning May 23rd 2005, it was announced that Frankie had departed The Darkness. At first, it was claimed that it was simply musical differences, but later on Frankie released a statement cliamed he was "frozen out". Whatever Farnkie chooses to do next, I, and all the other fans wish him the best of luck with it.

• Frankie was born in Milnathort, Scotland
• He attended the Royal High, in Edinburgh
• He has a half brother,the comedian Phil Kay, whom he upset greatly when telling him Santa wasn't real...
• He met Dan by answering an advert placed in a music magazine
• When people tell him to cut his tashe, he grows it longer and makes it more outragous
